Your data, your call
Delete your account —
a real, permanent, self-serve action.
You can delete your Career Sentinel account and its data at any time. This page tells you exactly how, what gets deleted immediately, and the narrow exceptions we're required to retain.
How to delete your account
-
1
In the app or on the web
Go to Account → Settings → Delete Account, confirm, and your account is deleted immediately.
-
2
Or, by email
Email wade@sentinelmedia.co from the email address on your account and ask us to delete it. We'll process it within 5 business days.
This is permanent. Once confirmed, deletion cannot be undone — there is no "restore my account" option.
What's deleted immediately
- Your login credentials — email and password with our authentication provider.
- Your profile — occupation, task weights, and diagnostic answers.
- Your AI-exposure score history — every past score and scenario.
- Your plans and progress — mitigator actions, plan items, streaks, and logged wins.
- Your course enrollment and progress — training courses and any earned credentials.
- Your talent-pool profile, if you opted into the candidate marketplace.
- Your employer account data, if you have one — company profile, saved workforce assessments, and roster data.
What's retained, and why
- Payment and transaction records. Receipts held by our payment processors (Stripe, Apple, or Google) may be retained by them under their own policies — typically up to 7 years — for financial recordkeeping, fraud prevention, or tax-law compliance. This applies even after your Career Sentinel account itself is deleted.
- Anonymized, aggregate usage data that no longer identifies you may be kept for product analytics.
See our full Privacy Policy for more detail on data retention.
Note. Deleting your account does not cancel an active subscription billed through Apple or Google — cancel that separately in your Apple ID or Google Play subscription settings to stop future charges. Subscriptions billed on the web through Stripe are canceled automatically as part of account deletion.
